Doctors

Dr Toyin Baikie

MBBS (1984), MRCGP, DRCOG, DFRSH
Special Interests: Gynaecology, Sexual Health and Family Planning, Diabetes, Skin Surgery, Minor Operations.

Working Days: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.

Dr Baikie joined the practice in 2004 and is a Senior Partner, also an experienced GP.

She has a strong interest particularly in sexual health and family planning, also runs a regular Thursday clinic which is open to patients across the borough.

She is the child protection lead for the practice and also performs minor surgical operations in house.

She has in the past worked for several years in rural Africa.

Dr Manotheethan Jegasothy

I am a GP working primarily in Richmond, Kingston and Wandsworth. I enjoy teaching and sharing learning and knowledge through interactive discussion.

I have an interest in governance, clinical leadership, risk management and innovation in the healthcare setting.

I am a GP appraiser, clinical leader and involved in training of GP registrars and nurse practitioners.

Specialist Interests: Paediatrics, respiratory and pain management.

I have worked and trained primarily in South West London having graduated from St Georges Medical School in 2004.

I have experience in General Medicine, Intensive Care and emergency medicine, but now work in General Practice.

Dr Sanjay Kumar

MBBS (1998), MRCGP, MRCP (PAEDIATRICS), DCH
Working Days: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday.

Dr Kumar speaks English, Hindi, Tamil, Urdu and Kannada.

Dr Kumar joined the practice in 2015. He has a background in child health. He takes an active role in teaching medical students attached to the practice.

Dr Thurishaa Nalliah

Dr Nalliah joined the practice as a salary GP in 2021 having completed some of her training previously at Hook surgery in 2018.

She graduated from Barts and The London University in 2015; she worked and trained across hospitals in Birmingham before completing her GP training in London.

She speaks English and Tamil. She has a special interest in Dermatology and carries out Dermoscopy sessions in her clinics.

First Contact Practitioner

A First Contact Practitioner (FCP) is a physiotherapist who is professionally qualified to treat patients without a referral from a GP or other healthcare professional. FCPs provide the first point of contact whereby those who visit a GP for a musculoskeletal (MSK) problem will instead have an appointment with an FCP physiotherapist.

Health Visitors

A health visitor is a registered nurse who has received training particularly related to babies, children and pregnant women. Their role is to provide families with children under five years old with support and advice around the general aspects of mental, physical and social wellbeing.
